Trust Free Zone

With the passage of Wisconsin's Concealed Carry Law in 2011, Wisconsin citizens are better able to protect themselves and their families while away from home.  Also included in the law was the opportunity for businesses to allow or restrict access to their establishments by responsibly armed citizens.

To allow legally armed citizens who passed a background check in to enter a business, a company was required to do nothing, and was given immunity from liability should any firearms related incident occur.  Businesses that chose to restrict responsibly armed citizens from their place of business and waive the immunity from liability are required to post a sign that must meet certain requirements.

That sign says a lot more than just "No Weapons Allowed".  It also says they do not trust your judgment.  In addition to a “Gun Free Zone”, they have created a “Trust Free Zone”

People who choose to carry a weapon are making an informed decision to protect themselves and their family.  They have taken the necessary training and successfully passed a state background check, proving they are responsible.

Criminals don't bother to apply for a license, because they cannot pass the background check.  Likewise, they ignore the same signs that restrict law abiding citizens.  All of the worst mass shootings have been in places that were posted, "No Weapons Allowed".

When you see a business that is posted as a "Gun Free Zone", remember this:
-they don't trust you
-they can't protect you
-they don't think you and your family are worth protecting.

You have a choice.

Not everyone feels comfortable being armed, and that is their choice.  Even if you choose not to carry, you are making the decision that is right for you, instead of having that choice taken from you.

You can choose to spend your money with a business the trusts you to make the right decision for you and your family, or you can spend your money someplace that doesn't trust you.  Isn't business about trust?

The choice is yours.
Choose to trust a business that trusts you.
Choose what is best for you and your family.
After all, isn't your family worth it?
