Our Government has Changed...

I remember growing up in a quiet neighborhood, in a quiet little town.
The only talk of war was on TV, about something halfway around the world in Vietnam.

Now, we have seen the beast on our shores.  Our blood has been spilled.
We all, personally, are at risk.

The world has changed, and so has our nation.

What was once the realm of tinfoil hats, chemtrails, and black helicopters has been dominating the headlines for months now.

The IRS is targeting everyone and everything that smells like a conservative.  The DOJ and NSA are flat out spying on everyone, regardless of ideology.

We can see that along with the changes in our world and the nation, and so has our government.

Now, there are calls from Barack Obama and Dianne Feinstein for more gun control.

They don't realize that Gun Control will not solve a problem with Self Control.

Its time we draw our line in the sand.
Representative Michael Schraa has given us exactly that line with LRB-2063 the Firearms Protection Act.  With the Firearms Protection Act he is giving us a chance to protect our jobs, our rights and ourselves.

To those who would suggest this is part of some political agenda, I say they are wrong.
Its not a Republican vs Democrat issue, or right vs left thing.
It is about right vs wrong; it is all about Liberty.

One cannot stand for one part of the Constitution and deny another because it doesn't fit their personal ideology.  Our Constitution, as currently amended, is the highest law in the land.
As such, it wisely constrains the power of the federal govt, in favor of greater power to the states and the citizens who reside therein.
The founders knew they couldn't plan for everything, so they included a process to take care of that.  If any part of it is no longer relevant, then amend it.

I think we’re okay for the moment.

Call your Wisconsin state elected officials and tell them to sign on and support this legislation.
